::About Dynamic::
Dynamic was created in the Spring of 2004 at the University of Maryland. Our focus is to bring more sophisticated, challenging, and entertaining dance moves to the University and its surrounding area. It is all too often that today's dance groups are either too provocative, elementary, or unexciting. Our mission is to assemble a group of motivated and dedicated students and in turn become a troupe of professional dancers.

Our style of dance is a combination of hip-hop grooves, sultry street jazz moves, as well as a few other forms of dance are sporadically included. We are established and continued with no discrimination to gender, age, culture, or experience. Our dance team is more than just a group of dancers getting together every once in awhile, we are a family.

All of our dancers have unique backgrounds in which they bring all aspects of dance technique and style to our practices. It is not necessary that you have any professional experience to join our group. Our tryouts are open to everyone. Although we were established in the Spring of 2004 all of our dancers were a part of the UM Dancin Divas, so we are knowledgeable of how to manage a group successfully. Planning for events has already begun, and here is a short list of the performances we are looking forward to being a part of:
